My education, training and experience span 24 years following completion of a Master's Degree in Social Work from Adelphi University in New York. I have developed strong skills in inpatient, educational and outpatient clinic settings.  Most recently, I worked and trained at The Menninger Clinic in Houston, TX for over 3 years.  I have developed an expertise and specialization in ACT (Acceptance and Commitment Therapy), addictions and dual diagnosis treatment, and psychodynamic therapy.  I use evidence-based theoretical approaches to address each client's and couple's needs.

Prior to my career in mental health, I received my undergraduate degree in Business Administration from The Lubin School of Business at Pace University in New York, and spent 15 years growing into management positions for major corporations in New York and Dallas. This experience allows me to assist corporate and business clients explore their emotional health in the context of their career success and decision making.

Coronavirus Update Regarding My Practice:  Currently I am seeing patients via teletherapy and in person.  I am fully vaccinated and ask that all patients requesting in person sessions are as well.  Masks are required in the building and common areas; we will determine collaboratively whether masks are worn in the therapy office. For teletherapy, my practice is contracted with the software product Doxy.me, which offers HIPAA compliant service.  Please contact me with any questions you may have or to make/change an appointment.
